Swing!!

Mommy and Me

Keller's school has been closed the past two day because of a nasty stomach virus. Apparently most of the teachers and kids were infected and they decided it was best to let it run it's course and have time to sanitize everything. Luckily little man shows no signs or symptoms (knock on wood). So we have had an unexpected two days together, and it's been wonderful! Yesterday morning we ran errands in the morning and then walked up to the park and swung for a bit. The weather is unseasonably warm but still a little windy. (ignore the pants tucked into the socks;)

Then we laid the blanket out on the ground. This was really the first time he has ever touched or experience grass. He was very interested.

Then we rolled around a bit and soaked up the sunshine.

Today we got up and went to story time at the library. Keller was the youngest one there but LOVED watching the big kids sing and play. At the end the teacher got out a big box of all kinds of different balls and he was in heaven. Scooting towards one batting it away and scooting towards another. I'm sure our collection of balls at home will only grow.

Keller 6 months!

Keller is half a year old!!

It is unbelievable how quickly the time has passed. You are a rolling machine. I have a little mat for you to play on but very rarely do you stay on it. You have started to belly scoot and I'm sure you're not to far away from crawling. You can sit but still need someone there with you because you still tip over. You would rather be mobil than just sitting but we will get there. You are still loving school and have yet to experience "stranger danger". You are always happy when I leave you and I hope it stays that way. Night times are still a little rough. You go to sleep great and sleep for a few hours but it's getting you to stay asleep that we are still working at. Some nights are better then others and you are such a great baby in all other ways I'm not too worried about it or pushing it too much. Your 6 month check up went great. Clean bill of health weighing in at 17.5 pounds (50th %) and 27 inches (75th %). You have tried a few foods. A taste of bannana, avacado, and grape. So far you like everything. We will start feeding you "dinner" in a few days.
Fingers always in your mouth but no teeth yet.

Always into everything.

Can't wait to see what the rest of your first year will bring!

Christmas WrapUp

We had a great first Christmas with our little man. He got lots of great toys, clothes, and books. We just kept thinking about how different things will be next year with him running around. Crazy how quickly time goes by.
Christmas Eve we went to church then to dinner at my parents house. Keller wore his "candy cane" shirt.Christmas morning we went to Coby's brother's house, then to my parents for the day, then to Coby's parents for Christmas night. Of course the majority of the pictures are of little man.
