1st day of school

Today was the first day of school. Even though Keller has been going all summer I thought I would go ahead and start taking first day of school pictures.
Here he is last year on his first day of school.



Here are some of the pictures I snapped on the front porch this morning. Please disregard the diaper hanging out and the paci clip.

Can't believe the difference between last year and this year. I guess he is officially a toddler and no longer a baby:(

Saturday Here in the Park...

Since its so nice and cool out today (the high is only 92) we ventured out to the park. Mid morning it was about 85 so not to hot. Here are a few pic with uncombe Saturday morning hair.

Grants Farm

Before we left STL on Sunday morning we visited Grants Farm. It was a neat park with a tram ride to see buffalo, deer, cow, and other animals. They even had an area where you could bottle feed the baby goats. We didn't spend too much time there but I did get this adorable picture of K looking like he is 12:(

The Magic House

While in St. Louis we took Keller to The Magic House. It was such a neat place but was crawling with children! I know. What else should we have expected on a Saturday morning? Other than the complete chaos we had a great time. There was an area for 6 years and under that we spent most of our time in.



I need to consult pinterest to see if there is a homemade version of this giant light bright. K loved it.






We are totally using this, shredded tires, instead of sand if we ever get the chance.





Climbing up the slide is way more fun than going down.





He ended up in the kitchen and insisted on toting a small frying pan around with him.

Some more of STL

Here are a few more pictures of our little vacay in STL. I used the baby carrier a lot on our trip. I felt like he could see the animals much better this way than in his stroller.





When he did get back into the stroller this is what happened.



The ball game was fantastic. The weather was a little warm but by no means unbearable.
If this isn't classy I don't know what is...

St. Louis Zoo

We are back from St. Louis and we had a great time. This is how we made the trip there and back... A little bit of Eebee on the iPad, sleeping, and about a million puffs.






Thursday we arrived, got settled in and went to our favorite spice store Penzy's and the the REI store.
I spent most of the time chasing this guy around the REI store. I was trying to let him run some energy out after the long car ride. He though his was big stuff climbing the two flights of stairs.



Friday morning we got up early and headed to the zoo. It was wonderful weather ad not too crowded until later in the day. Keller got to have some up close encounters with the monkeys.












They had a great children's area.









And Keller had his first carousel ride.




A good nap was had that afternoon.
