How Sweet It Is.

We have had such a great weekend! (Aside from a nasty incidence with my embroidery machine this afternoon...we'll save that for another time.)
Friday afternoon I took some of our nieces and nephews, Peri, Gray, and Charlie, to see Toy Story 3 in 3D. We had a great time and the movie was really cute. I must admit. I might have teared up a bit in the end.
It was sunny and hot.

When Coby got home we went to eat at our favorite, La Hacienda, then went to the mall and browsed around.
Saturday we got up and headed to the farmers market to pick up our basket. It was good one with LOTS of yummy fruit, bacon, green beans, cheese, potatoes, corn. If you get a chance head to the farmers market and get you some corn. It's call "peaches and cream" corn and is hands down the best I've ever eaten. The watermelon is also very good right now.

I spent Saturday afternoon on the couch reading. Then Coby was so great to take me to a Travelers game. It was a little warm and they played terribly but the beer, corn dog, cotton candy, and fireworks defintely made up for it.

Self portrait don't always turn out so great.

Today I have spent some time sewing. Still don't want to talk about the ugly incident with the embroidery machine but will update when the project is complete. Coby made a wonderful dinner of fried chicken, green beans, and corn. He also made a blackberry/blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dinner. YUM!

A new season of Entourage starts tonight. Next week will be spent getting ready for San Francisco. Can't wait!!!
