Keller's Arrival...

...is still pending. Just wanted to give a quick update. I'm still 5 days away from my due date, but we all know babies rarely come on their due date. I've been feeling less than par these last few days. Swelling in my legs have gone down seeing as how I spend most of the hours of my day in bed. But my legs have now started to break out in a nasty, tortuously itchy rash. Gross I know. Dr seems to think it's from all the swelling. All I know is it's miserable. My reflux is still there as well. Thought I could make it these last few days without Prevacid but caved and bought a new bottle today. All this being said the dr went ahead and scheduled and induction for Friday morning. She is worried about my blood pressure continuing to slowly rise. This was not in my plan. I had been preparing my self to go into labor naturally and to attempt labor and delivery with no drugs. But after getting out of the house today to get to the dr and really not feeling great after all that activity I'm beginning to think it's the best option. So we are going to the hospital on Thursday evening to spent the night and start the induction early Friday morning. Still not sure about having an epidural, but I'm making up my mind now to just go with the flow and be happy about a healthy baby no matter how he gets here. All that being said...Keller will be here sooner than later. It is exciting and good to have a light at the end of the tunnel!!

The leg stuff sounds terrible, poor thing! Exciting that you know you're going to be induced though! I don't want to be induced either, but the doctors will do what's best for you and baby I'm sure. :) Good luck, can't wait to "meet" him. I hope mine comes SOON too!
